Ltd.’ (formerly Gorkha Sandesh) was established as a non-profit-distributing company to contribute to the development of Nepali society, civilisation, and culture, fostering hope, trust, and positive sentiment among readers through investigative, positive, and development-oriented news, information, and opinions.
PalikaLive.com is committed, and will always remain committed, to the Press Code of Conduct and prevailing laws. Once published, news and news-related content will not be removed except in circumstances specified by law. However, we remain prompt in correcting errors. Decisions on whether to publish rebuttals submitted by parties affected by a news report will be made based on prevailing press standards.
We do not practice any form of bias in publishing news or opinions. However, we reserve the right not to publish content that does not align with our priorities, is not fact-based, or contradicts journalistic principles. Published opinions, analyses, and similar content reflect the personal views of their authors and do not represent the official position of Palika Live. High priority will also be given to content related to rural areas, marginalised communities, and local technology and skills.
